Keyholding - The Boing Keyholder Data Register

The Keyholder Data Register is a database maintained by Boing UK on behalf of our partner police forces. It contains registered keyholders for both business premises and private residences. This means if an incident occurs at your home or business premises when you are away, during the night or on holiday, police can contact your named keyholder and quickly gain access to your building.

The database can also record vital information such as whether you have a preferred contractor to carry out emergency repairs, or where the stopcocks and electricity inlets are in the event of a flood or fire, and whether chemicals are stored on the premises. Not only can this valuable service prevent further damage to a building, but it could even save lives and stop a minor problem turning into a disaster.

Boing are proven keyholder systems specialists, are trusted by the police and already work in partnership with a growing number of constabularies across the UK to provide Keyholder Registers. If you live in one of these constabulary areas, then you can take advantage of this valuable service. (Please see our list below).

The Keyholder Registers offer 24-hour, seven-days-a-week coverage and the information contained on their databases is owned by the police, protected by the Data Protection Act 1998 and only accessible to the emergency services.

From as little as £25 per year for business premises and £12 per year for residential properties, owners and residents will gain peace of mind by knowing that the police will be able to contact the right person quickly during an emergency at their property.
