Boing works in partnership with an ever increasing number of police forces to provide an integrated response centre to deal with the growing number of non-emergency calls, taking care of the operational and administrative burden, and freeing officers in all areas to concentrate their valuable time on high priority tasks. This saves the police service a substantial amount of time, effort and as a result public money!
Such calls to 999 services and police switchboards can range from anything from lost keys, burst pipes, broken or unsecured windows and locks, to cats up trees and even swarming bees. Police staff on patrol also receive similar requests for help on a daily basis.
The Boing Service Response Centre offers a simple and effective solution. It operates 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year, offering four main operating services – Contractor Call-out, Boarding & Glazing, Keyholding and Support Services - each designed to stand alone as a tailor-made service or to be fully integrated with one or more of the other services.
Some police forces transfer their designated non-police related calls direct to our 0800 number, whilst others refer the public to a recorded message giving out our freephone number. Our comprehensive database of contractors is police specific and we are always prepared to add to it to cover any eventuality or individual requirements that a police force may have in any given area.
It is our aim to support police efforts to provide a high quality of service to the public when they contact the police for assistance.
We are currently working in close partnership with the following forces providing a wide variety of services:-
