Our efficient staff at the Boing Response Centre respond to thousands of non-police related calls, co-ordinating attendance by a responsible, registered tradesperson for the caller and following it through with a quality aftercare service.
Callers range from the police themselves to members of the public or other organisations such as fire & rescue, local authorities or charities, including those supporting the victims of crime.
The type and number of calls is not exhaustive and we always require reliable contractors to fulfil this growing and demanding service in many areas of the UK.
Calls range from cats stuck up trees, to lost keys, burst pipes, broken windows and doors which need glazing or securing, even swarming bees.
Our system works in the following way:-
The police and other organisations contact us or refer callers to our Service Response Centre or members of the public call in direct. We record their details and requirements and give them a unique tracking number.
Our Response Centre team asks a registered contractor from our database to attend the call-out, preferably within 40 minutes. Contractors are called in strict rotation within the area codes covered.
Depending on where the call originates from, Boing will mediate between the contractor and the police, or will provide a brief description of the service required and fax or email details through. Once on-site, we ask the contractor to keep us updated on the situation and let us know when the job is completed and they are available to attend more calls.
